A body was found floating in the water at First Old River in Miller County this morning Nov. 30, 2021.

Multiple agencies and emergency crews responded to a call shortly before 7 AM about a report of a body seen floating in the First Old River in Miller Couty, according to a report from KSLA News 12. The body was retrieved from the water and has been identified but the name has not been released as of yet. The body has only been identified as a male at this time.

Update

The man apparently looks to be in his 80s and his truck was still on the launch pad with the trailer, the boat was in the river according to deputies who arrived at the scene. The name of the deceased man still has not been released and the body has been sent to Little Rock for an autopsy.

Miller County Sheriff's Office officials reported the man is from Southwest Arkansas.
