As I can continue to search out some of the best Christmas Light displays and festivities in our region, you have to make the short hour-long drive from Texarkana to Mount Pleasant for the Boots and Bells 'Ole West Christmas' in historic downtown.

The western-themed Boots and Bells 'Ole West Christmas' will take you back to a time when cowboys and outlaws ruled the streets. Over one million lights adorn the town square streets, buildings, courthouse, businesses, throughout this quaint little Northeast Texas town. Lighted chuckwagons line the street corners and is reminiscent of a time long ago when pioneers and settlers called this home. Historic downtown Mount Pleasant is known for its specialty shops if you're looking for that unique holiday gift and if you get hungry, choose from some very nice eating places. Remember, COVID-19 guidelines are in place for businesses and restaurants.

Boots and Bells 'Ole West Christmas' will feature live music this Saturday evening December 19, with Hayden McBride. Children can visit with Cowboy Santa too! Yee-Haw!

Boots and Bells 'Ole West Christmas' runs through December 27, 2020, and is presented by the City of Mount Pleasant.
