Learn About CASA at Brews & Bros Night in Texarkana
CASA for Children in Texarkana is inviting local men to learn how they can change a child’s life... and have a beer if you like.
CASA for Children is hosting a special event just for the guys, and it comes with a cold beer. Brews & Bros, a men-focused volunteer info night, will take place Thursday, August 7, at 6:00 PM at Redbone Magic Brewing in Texarkana.
This will be a relaxed, no-pressure evening, a perfect chance to learn how you can step up as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), someone who helps give a voice to abused and neglected children in the foster care system. CASA volunteers are trained to advocate in court and the community, working to help kids find safe, permanent homes.
“There’s a real need for strong, stable male role models in this work,” said CASA Chief Advancement Officer Breanne Bradshaw. “If you’ve ever wanted to make a difference, this is your moment.”
Whether you’re ready to commit or just curious, grab a pint and see how you can be part of something life-changing.
Put this in your calendar right now, and learn how you can help these kids:
