Burge King Grand Opening Celebration, Ashdown
The newly remodeled Burger King has reopened in Ashdown at 720 S. Constitution Ave (Hwy 71 North). Original owners, Nathan and Anita Avard, remodeled the Burger King restaurant, which they say took approximately a month and a half to complete. A total makeover of the building was undertaken, both inside and out, featuring new flooring, light fixtures, decor, tables, and booths. Even the landscaping was a do-over, and an extra drive-thru lane was added as part of the renovation.

Little River Chamber of Commerce Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
A jubilant crowd turned out for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 19, with the Little River Chamber of Commerce.
"The new remodel is a testament to the community proving they care about the people in this county, trying to create such an enjoyable experience for their customers, said Joe Martinez, Little River Chamber of Commerce."
Several prize drawings were held for two bicycles, an iPad, and a 55-inch Samsung HDTV. Customers were treated to free cookies and cupcakes, and other goodies. The Burger King himself was there, too, handing out free mini ice cream cones with a photo opp.
The next time you're in Ashdown, make sure to stop off and see the fun-loving crew at Burger King on Hwy 71 North. The newly remodeled restaurant looks fit for a King and is ready to serve all of their customers.
