Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, CASA, is asking Miller, Little River, Howard, Hempstead, Lafayette and Nevada Counties to give online through ArkansasGives.org on April 2 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.On Thursday, April 2, the public will be able to give online from smartphones, tablets or personal computers by going to ArkansasGives.org, and choosing CASA for Children – Texarkana and making a credit card donation. In addition to the value of their gift, ArkansasGives.org donors will help CASA receive a portion of the bonus dollars and help them compete for additional cash prizes.

“Your online donation April 2 will help CASA earn bonus dollars from a $250,000 bonus pool provided by the Arkansas Community Foundation,” said Development Director, Leigh Harris. “It’s one day, one easy way to give.”

“This is a great opportunity to maximize the value of your donation during National Child Abuse Prevention Month,” said Executive Director, Danita Abernathy. “Donors often express a desire to be able to give more. With the matching funds provided through ArkansasGives, every gift given to CASA on April 2nd through ArkansasGives, no matter how large or how small, will do exactly that—give more.”
