It's hard to believe that the 2022 Bridal Fair is now history, and it was such a great success.

First off, I know what you're thinking it's winter but now is the time to start planning that summer vacation.  Did you know that you don't have to travel very far to get he feel of the tropics?

Oh, I think I just found my favorite house in Texarkana. This property includes a beautiful Mediterranean-style home with a kitchen that would make the worst cook at least look great.  But that's not even the best part!

If these cooler temperatures are making you think about booking a tropical getaway this spring or summer but still a little warry about airline travel, then you really need to check this out. There is a tropical treehouse getaway on a lake in Arkansas.

Most recently I was driving around one Sunday afternoon in Texarkana and I began to flashback in my mind on just how many motels this town has had over the years. I also realized just how many are still here.

It's a new year, how about a new house? Here's one with 10 bedrooms, 8 full baths, 4 partial baths, oh, and did we mention the waterpark in the backyard? You're gonna have to get out your big boy checkbook on this one, it's only $19.5 Million. I'm sure it won't last long.

Let's face it, the big day is coming and you need to plan ahead, we have the perfect place for you to do just that, the 2022 Bridal Fair returns "in person" on January 22, 2022, at the Texarkana Texas Convention Center on Cow Horn Creek.

How would you like to live in a house that was totally underground? Would you be able to do it? It would definitely be quiet and safe from a tornado, but would it feel a little claustrophobic? It would be hard to live in a house with no windows unless of course, you lived in this house. This has got to be one of the craziest houses ever!

My friend Bill Harp along with his lovely wife Michelle invited me to join them for the Southern Sportsmen Foundation banquet in Foreman, Arkansas a couple of weeks ago and I'm so glad I finally got to be a part of it. I got some pictures!

Apparently, there are a ton of Comic-Convention-type folks in North Texas that have missed those events since the pandemic began. Well, they're back, the conventions and the folks.

Let me start off by saying I am a good son... It's not that I think I'm a good son, I know it. So, here's the story; My mom's best friend since college is named Sue, I have known Sue and her kids since I was a kid. I also haven't seen her kids since I was a teenager, you could say it's been a while.

If you grew up in Texas in the 70's then you probably remember these cute little Horned toads. They were common, but now the Texas horned lizard is one of more than 1,300 species of concern in the state.
