Christ United Methodist Church Annual Chili Supper Feb. 22

It's about that time again for some good old chili. The United Methodist Men will be having their annual chili supper on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 4PM to 6:30PM at the Christ United Methodist Church 5204 South Rondo Road.

Besides just serving up chili, hot dogs will also be available. Adults are $8, children $4, includes drink and desserts. Carry-outs are also available. The annual chili supper will benefit the Curtis Cornett Scholarship Fund. I have to tell you, I went there last year and man, it was some really good chili.

So how do you like your chili with beans or no beans? Some people say chili is not chili if it has beans in it. I prefer it both ways myself and yes, you have to throw a little cheese on top. There are so many ways to eat chili from throwing in a few corn chips or crumbling up some cracker crumbs to add in, my favorite thing to do.
