Congratulations are in order once again as TexAmericas Center has landed a major new tenant, COIM USA, a specialty chemical manufacturer and part of the international COIM Group. The company has acquired a 20-acre rail-served property featuring a 25,000-square-foot facility from Palmer International, strengthening its logistics and distribution network across North America.

COIM USA plans to launch a new line of renewable polyols at the site, using Cashew Nutshell Liquid (CNSL), a fast-renewing plant-based material. The new product line will expand its sustainable offerings alongside the company’s Isoexter series of polyester polyols.

“This acquisition represents a significant milestone in COIM USA’s long-term growth strategy,” said company president Michelangelo Cavallo, noting that the TexAmericas location increases geographic reach and delivery capabilities.

TexAmericas Center may also become the home of a major mid-south expansion for COIM USA. The company is considering an additional project that would add 100 million pounds of production capacity by 2027.

Positioned in a region that produces 80% of the country’s primary petrochemical supply, TexAmericas Center is central to the nation's chemical corridor. Chemical manufacturing in the area contributed $1 billion to GDP in 2022, six times the national average, and supports more than 32,000 jobs across 53 companies within 75 miles.

“This is another step forward in our evolution as a hub for green industry,” said Eric Voyles, Executive Vice President at TexAmericas Center.

Located just west of Texarkana, TexAmericas Center operates one of the largest mixed-use industrial parks in the U.S., with 12,000 development-ready acres and 3.5 million square feet of commercial and industrial space. With multiple state highways, interstates, air freight routes, and seven converging rail lines, TexAmericas Center is a central shipping and logistics powerhouse. Recognized as a top-five industrial park by Business Facilities magazine in 2025 and home to the No. 1 certified site program in the South. Whether launching a new operation or expanding capacity, TexAmericas Center provides the infrastructure, flexibility, and incentives businesses need to grow.
