Diamond Rio Bringing Hit-Filled Show to El Dorado, Arkansas

Country music fans will have a chance to see one of the genre's most successful bands this fall as Diamond Rio takes the stage at First Financial Music Hall in El Dorado on Friday, Oct. 16.

The Grammy Award-winning group will perform with special guest Abbey Cone. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the concert begins at 7:30 PM.

Tickets Go on Sale July 31

Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, July 31, at 10 AM. Prices range from $25 to $90, plus applicable service fees. Tickets will be available online at eldomad.com, through the Murphy Arts District (MAD) box office at 101 E. Locust St., or by calling 870-444-3007.

Diamond Rio first broke onto the country music scene in 1991 with "Meet in the Middle," becoming the first country music group to reach No. 1 with a debut single. The band went on to release a string of hits, including "One More Day," "Beautiful Mess," "Unbelievable," "How Your Love Makes Me Feel," and "I Believe."

Grammy-Winning Band Celebrates Decades of Country Hits

Over the course of their career, Diamond Rio has sold more than 6.8 million albums and topped 1 billion global streams. The band has earned 20 Top 10 singles, seven No. 1 hits, 14 Grammy nominations, and a Grammy Award for their Christian country album The Reason.

The group is also a member of the Grand Ole Opry and has won six Vocal Group of the Year awards from the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music.

Murphy Arts District President and CEO Pam Griffin said the concert adds another reason for visitors to spend the weekend in El Dorado, enjoying the city's restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.

The Murphy Arts District box office is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 5 PM.
