Fall Festival to Benefit Runnin’ WJ Ranch Texarkana Nov. 18
There will be a fall festival at Spring Lake Park this Saturday, November 18, to benefit Runnin' WJ Ranch.
Fall Festival
This family-friendly event will begin at 2 PM and proceeds from the event will go toward providing services at Runnin' WJ Ranch for children in need.
There will be food vendors, games, face painting, a raffle, and a silent auction. The fall festival is being hosted by Madison Mathis.
Madison Mathis who is a registered nurse at CHRISTUS St. Michael recently found out her son was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD about two months ago. Madison felt the need to do something not only to help her son but others who may be affected in the same way by partnering up with Running WJ Ranch. Madison is hoping the surrounding Texarkana area will come out to show support on Saturday.
About Runnin' WJ Ranch
Runnin WJ Ranch offers therapeutic horseback riding for kids starting at age four. Certified instructors along with local volunteers are trained to help children improve their physical, emotional, social, and behavioral skills through horseback riding. This activity not only provides a positive outlet for the child but it also helps their cognitive, behavioral, and social development.
