
Farmers’ Almanac 2025 Fall Forecast For Arkansas & Texas is Here
Who is ready for Fall? It will be here before you know it. Of course in our area we will still see warm or hot temperatures for quite a while even though Autumn officially begins on September 22.
A Look Back: Summer's "Sizzling and Showery" Reality
I am seriously always amazed at the Farmers' Almanac predictions. We love to hear about the extended forecasts for the next season but have you ever looked back and checked the forecast to see how accurate it was? I have and it's pretty crazy to see.
Do you know what the prediction was for this summer? For Arkansas and Texas it said "Sizzling and Showery" Wow! That is exactly what we have been experiencing!

Both the Farmers' Almanac and the Old Farmers' Almanac boost they have an 80% accurancy. Experts say that their predictions are only about 50% accurate but I tend to dissagree. We have been reporting their forecasts for close to 10 years and they seem to know what they are doing.

It looks like where we are, in the Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Lousiana area we will we experience,
Fair temperatures with a dry start and then our area will finish the fall season wet with quite a bit of rain.
Holiday Weather Outlook: Halloween & Thanksgiving
As for around Halloween? For our area they are predicting October 28 through the 31 to be Wet and then Clearing Skies
The forecast also mentions that as we get close to Thanksgiving rain could complicate travel in the east and central areas of the country but most of the country including us should have clearing skies by Turkey Day.
