This restaurant is located on a ranch in Driftwood Texas about a 30-minute drive southwest of Austin. They say the food is so good that loads of people make the trek for the food. This restaurant in Hot Springs has been open since 1926 and is still going strong. The story has it that the owners originally had a motel but a guest couldn't pay so he gave them a recipe for a BBQ sauce. It was so good they opened a restaurant. Not only is McClard's known for its BBQ and famous sauce it also has a famous former President Bill Clinton. They even catered his 60th birthday back in 2006. Find out more on their Facebook page.
