Farmers’ Almanac 2024 Fall Predictions for Texas and Arkansas
Are you sick and tired of the heat this summer? You and me both, I am so over summer and ready for fall to arrive.
Texas Fall Weather
September 22, marks the first day of the autumn, football, pumpkin spice, and cooler weather but hold on because according to the Farmer's Almanac fall predictions Texans can expect warmer-than-average temperatures this year.
What About Arkansas?
Arkansas can expect near-average temperatures this fall depending on where you live in the natural state. Texarkana is in Texas and Arkansas, so I will say the Texas prediction of warmer-than-normal weather is most likely. See Fall Map Here. La Nina's changing weather pattern could also affect Arkansas' weather this fall and winter, according to KARK-TV.
The Almanac has been predicting weather since 1818, and believe it or not it's been pretty accurate 80-85 percent of the time. So, it's unlikely that we will get significantly cooler weather by the time the Fall season officially arrives.
Within the next three months according to the National Weather Service's Climate Prediction Center, most of Texas and Arkansas could see above-normal precipitation that could give us some temporary relief from the hotter weather.
The Farmers' Almanac has been providing its annual yearly weather predictions for the United States and Canada since 1818.
So, if we can just hang on for a little longer cooler weather will be here before you know it and we gather around the fire pit for hot cocoa and S'mores.
