Feel Like Getting Dirty? Texarkana’s Newest Cool Place Now Open

Do you feel like getting dirty? Well, the wait is over Texarkana is now home to the National Franchise, Dirty Dough.

Dirty Dough is located next door to Starbucks on North State Line Avenue and has been open for about two weeks, according to Shelby Rasmusson, the owner of Dirty Dough. Shelby has always loved baking cookies and when the opportunity arose to open her own business it was just too good to pass up. Originally from Utah, she now lives in Dekalb, Texas with her husband who is a cattle rancher.

She and her friendly staff love the idea of making people smile when they visit Dirty Dough because after all who doesn't smile when receiving a delicious freshly baked stuffed warm cookie? All cookies are made fresh and baked daily at Dirty Dough there are no holdovers.

Their fun-to-eat cookies are all trademarked with their secret recipes meaning you won't find their flavors anywhere else. What sets Dirty Dough cookies apart from the competition is that they create super-stuffed, multi-layered cookies that are gooey from the inside out with plenty of mix-ins.

The best part about Dirty Dough is that they rotate new cookie flavors weekly along with their classics like Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, Rasberry Toaster Tart, Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch, Cookie n' Creame, Stuffed Chocolate Chip, The Brookie, part brownie, part cookie with swirls of caramel just to name a few.

Dirty Dough is not just cookies it's also shakes and ice cream mixed with one of their cookies. Did I tell you that they love happy customers?

Dirty Shake

While I was there I tried the Dirty Shake, no I wasn't dirty dancing but I felt like doing it after I received two scoops of chocolate ice cream with a warm Brookie. The stuff-filled cookie was submerged inside the shake then covered with whipped cream and dazzled with caramel. OMG!  It was so heavenly and delicious almost to the point it could be addictive.

So, you see there are lots of ways to get dirty with the sweet goodness of Dirty Dough cookies proudly unique inside and out.

Grand Opening

If you haven't tried Dirty Dough yet, put it on your list. Shelby invites Texarkana and the surrounding area out for their Grand Opening on January 13, from 9 am to 9 pm.
