
Suspect Allegedly Punches 73-Year-Old Man & Steals Wife’s Purse in Texarkana
Texarkana, Texas Police are asking for your help in locating 30-year-old Freddie Miller, who is wanted for an aggravated robbery that happened Tuesday afternoon, March 24, on Bowie Street.
Authorities say an elderly couple was pulling into a convenience store parking space when they accidentally bumped a parked car that belonged to Miller. When he came out of the store, he spoke with the husband, who was sitting in the passenger seat.
Then Things Turned Violent in Texarkana
According to the Texarkana Texas Police Facebook page,
Miller reached into the car trying to grab some cash the 73-year-old man was holding. When the man tried to resist, Miller hit him several times in the face and took the money. He then briefly got back into his car, got out again, and grabbed the wife’s purse from her hands inside the vehicle.
The purse was found a little later in the middle of the road. But the cash inside the purse was gone.

Suspect in Texarkana Still at Large
Police say Miller fled the scene in a Ford Fusion. Investigators were able to track the vehicle to a residence using surveillance video, but he was not there.
Officials say incidents like this, especially those that involve senior citizens, are particularly concerning and taken very seriously.
