Listen up because another FREE Seedling Giveaway is scheduled on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the Farmers Market in Ashdown, Arkansas.

Get there early because only a limited amount of seedlings will be handed out from 9 AM to 12:30 PM or until the supply runs out. Trees will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. A limit of two of each species per person is allowed.

How Many Tree Seedlings Will Be Given Away?

• 400 - Sawtooth Oak - Attractive and durable shade tree
• 200 - White Oak - Strong, long-lasting, and durable tree
• 400 - Pecan - Takes 20-25 years for full growth up to 100 feet tall
• 200 - Water Hickory - Hickory trees are excellent for use in landscaping
• 100 - Bald Cypress - This tree is great for gardens and can grow up to 120 feet tall

How Long Does It Take To Grow a Tree From a Seedling?

Depending on the soil quality, species, and water, it can take from 20 - 25 years to reach their full maximum growth.
