Great New Recipes For The Upcoming Holidays at the Taste of Home Cooking School [PHOTOS]

It's that time of the year again! Time for the Taste of Home Cooking School with Culinary Specialist Jamie Dunn as she brings her latest techniques and recipes to the Four States Fairgrounds Entertainment Center on Thursday, Nov. 8 starting at 6:30 p.m.Last year I was asked to be the Guinea pig for sampling what Jamie cooked onstage and making comments about each dish. I'm not complaining because I love great food, but if you asked the audience you might get a different opinion. I can't tell you how many people came up to me after the show and said: must be nice to sample all that great food. Well, it looks like I've been tabbed to do the same this year and be the emcee of the event. I'll try not to rub it in too much (wink!)

During this interactive event, you’ll watch top culinary expert Jamie Dunn demonstrate ten new recipes you can easily recreate in your home. Armed with new culinary tips and techniques, you’ll be sure to impress your family and friends with these sophisticated yet surprisingly easy-to-make dishes.

General Admission Tickets are $12 online and $15 at the door. VIP Tickets are also available on line at a cost of $50.

General Admission Tickets include a Goodie Bag from Taste of Home and Townsquare Media Texarkana. VIP Tickets include special seating in the front, a Taste of Home Best Loved Recipes Cook Book (1,485 recipes) plus a Christmas Cook Book from Dillard’s with extra special gifts. Beginning October 1, 2012, General Admission Tickets and VIP Tickets can also be purchased at Dillard’s in Central Mall and at Dot’s Ace Hardware on Richmond Road.

The Taste of Home Cooking School will take place Thursday, Nov. 8. Doors open at 4 p.m. Show starts at 6:30 p.m. Come early to check out great merchandise from local vendors. Several Taste of Home Cook Books will also be for sale.
