Harvest Food Bank Is Back In Howard County Wednesday at 9AM
Harvest Regional Food Bank returns to Howard County this Wednesday, August 16, however, remember there is a new location and new procedures for Nashville and the surrounding area.
Harvest Regional Food Bank has teamed up with Sunset Church of Christ in Nashville, Arkansas for the Commodity Food Box Distributions for Howard County.
The distribution begins at 9:00 AM and last until approximately 11 AM or until all boxes have been distributed.
New Location
The food box distribution has moved to the Sunset Church of Christ located at 1420 W Sunset St. Nashville, AR. (See Map)
New Procedures
From now on, recipients must come inside the Fellowship Building (located behind the
church) to check in first. Once you have checked in, then you can return to your vehicle and proceed to line up in the church parking lot and wait for further instructions. Volunteers will be on hand to assist.
What Do You Need To Bring?
Recipients must bring their up-to-date driver's license with their current address or photo identification verifying they are a resident of Howard County, proof of address is required to receive this distribution. The distribution is limited to 1 box per household, and 2 households maximum per vehicle.
Arkansas Minority Health Commission will have its Mobile Health Unit at the mobile pantry offering FREE Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, Glucose, BMI, and Oxygen/Pulse checks. They will also provide other Health education.
The next Mobile Pantry for Howard County is scheduled for November 15, 2023.
