Holiday Springs Water Park Now Open With New Policies & Changes

Summer is here and over the weekend Holiday Springs Water Park in Texarkana officially opened. Of course, there are a few changes to expect because of Covid-19, including social distancing and a lower capacity of people.

They posted on their Facebook page some changes they have made and their new policies as well:

Following are some of the highlights of the changes:

1. No entry if fever, symptoms or contacts with positive patient

2. 6 feet physical distancing

3. Frequent disinfection of high touch areas with dedicated staff

4. Distant tables and chairs, allow grass lawn seating to spread with beach towels

5. Markings anywhere with line

6. Maintenance of pool chemistry with multiple testing everyday

7. All employees are screened daily

8. Barriers to allow distancing at the concessions and ticketing areas

9. Reduced entrance to only one to control the flow

10. Overall capacity management; being an outdoor park and outdoor food service area within the park, we have significant capacity even with above measures and capacity reduction
