Would your kids' age 5 through 8 like to go to a Kid Yoga class this Friday?

In this playful yoga class designed especially for elementary aged-children, children will learn yoga poses, breathing, light work, and relaxation exercises through a series of games and activities designed to make yoga fun.

The Instructor Amber Sheppard will teach your children the skills necessary to cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve concentration, and give children the tools to manage stress in their daily lives.

There will be games, stories, and music that will be incorporated into this fun, non-competitive class. Each class ends with a period of relaxation and admission: $12 per Child.
Notes: The age range is suggested, if your child(ren) plays well with this age group, then they are welcome. Parents can stay with their children if they like, but we do ask you to participate in the fun.

There are other physical benefits to Yoga such as increased muscle strength and tone improved respiration, energy, and vitality, maintaining a balanced metabolism, weight reduction cardio and circulatory health, improved athletic performance, and protection from possible injury.

Mental benefits include stress reduction. Yoga's meditation and breathing techniques are extremely helpful in managing the day to day stress has on our lives. It can also sharpen concentration and focus.
