Local Company Grows Again With New Hyatt Studios Texarkana

A new extended-stay hotel has opened its doors in Texarkana, Texas, giving travelers another upscale lodging option while marking another milestone for one of the area's fastest-growing hospitality companies.

Hyatt Studios Texarkana officially welcomed its first guests on July 10. The 121-room property is only the ninth Hyatt Studios location to open nationwide and is part of Hyatt's newest upscale extended-stay hotel brand.

Designed for Longer Stays

The hotel is geared toward guests staying for several nights or even several weeks. Each studio suite includes a full kitchen, complimentary grab-and-go breakfast, free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour fitness center, laundry facilities, and an on-site market for snacks and everyday essentials.

The brand is designed to provide the comforts of home while offering the service and amenities travelers expect from Hyatt.

DPN Collection Continues to Grow

Judos to Texarkana-based DPN Collection, which has expanded rapidly over the past year. The company now owns and operates 13 hotels across Texas and Arkansas after having just two hotels a year ago.

DPN Collection plans to continue expanding into Louisiana and Oklahoma, with a long-term goal of growing its portfolio to 50 hotels over the next three years.

Boosting the Texarkana Economy

Company officials say the new hotel is expected to create jobs, attract more visitors to the area, and support local businesses. The opening also strengthens DPN Collection's presence in Texarkana while bringing Hyatt's newest extended-stay concept to the region.

Reservations are now being accepted for Hyatt Studios Texarkana.
