Canada is getting rid of their penny. The Canadian government announced this past week that they will take it out of circulation by the end of this year. They said it's more expensive to produce than its actual value. Is it time for us to do the same? Take our poll after the jump! If we did get rid of the penny, what would we do if something is priced 10.62? Would pricing be forced to round up? The phrase "save your pennies" wouldn't make any sense (Ha! no pun intended!). Oh, the questions!
President Abraham Lincoln is already on the $5 bill so I don't think he would mind if the penny was gone.
