Good Monday, Here are some stories making headlines today:

On this Memorial Day, there will be a ceremony to honor our military veterans who fought and died serving our country, those who served and are retired or have since past on, and those who are currently serving today. The service will be held this afternoon at 1pm at the Hillcrest Memorial Park on Highway 67 West in Wake Village, Texas.

There will be guest speakers, music, 21 gun salute and more with the Park entrance featuring the Avenue of Flags,  some 285 and each gravesite of a veteran will be marked with a flag.

The Texas Legistlative session set to go into overtime. The governor expected to call a Special Session to start as early as tommorrow.  The regular session ending without agreement on the school finance bill and also the Texas House failed to pass a key health care law.

In Sports:

Ohio State football coach Jim Tressell has resigned amid violations of the NCAA.

The two racing events yesterday were both decided on the final turn as Dan Wheldon won the Indianapolis 500 after rookie JR Hildebrand crashed into the wall on the final turn and finished 2nd in the 100th running of the famed race.

Also Kevin Harvick won the Nascar Coca-Cola 600 when Dale Earnhardt Junior ran out of gas on the final turn. Earnhardt coasted to a 7th place finish.
