$3 million dollars  bond  has been set for a Bowie County Texas Teen charged as an adult in connection with the deaths of a Texarkana area woman and her two children last May.

Rachel Nicole Pittman remains in the Bi-State Justice Center Jail. 34 year old Amanda Doss, 11 year old Guinevere Doss and 8 year old Texas Johnson were found dead inside the charred ruins of their Redwater, Texas home last spring.

The number of people seeking unemployment benefits fell last week, a sign that companies are cutting fewer jobs and likely stepping up hiring. The labor department says weekly unemployment applications fell 12,000 to a seasonally adjusted 367,000. The four week average, a less volatile measure dropped for the 3^rd straight week to a little over 375,000.

Economists  say when applications stay consistently below 375,000 it usually signals that hiring is strong enough to lower the unemployment rate.

Congratulations to Texas Congressman Ron Paul. The Presidential Candidate celebrated his 55^th wedding anniversary with his wife C arol yesterday on the campaign trail in Nevada. Paul ended a press conference by presenting his bride with a bouquet of flowers. Paul said he let his wife sleep in late Wednesday Morning and had ordered a room service breakfast for her to be delivered when she woke up. The couple planned to go out to dinner and attend a performance of “ Phantom of the Opera” last night. The Paul’s were married February 1^st, 1957 and have five children and 18 grandchildren.

In Sports: Former boxing trainor Angelo Dundee, who worked the corner for Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard died at age 90 yesterday.
