The reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction for a suspect or suspects in a Bowie County Triple Homocide has been increased to $17,000.

Authorities are  asking if you have any information to phone the Bowie County Texas Sheriff's Department or Texarkana Area Crimestoppers. The Crimestoppers number is (903) 793-stop and remember they just need your information and not your name.

The Arkansas Supreme Court is hearing arguments today in a federal lawsuit over the construction of a coal-fired power plant being built near Fulton, Arkansas in Hempstead County east of Texarkana. A federal judge referred legal questions surrounding  the proposed $2.1 billion Southwestern Electric Power Company plant to the justices last year.

Arkansas Authorities will soon be increasing efforts to keep motorists buckled up. The Arkansas State Police say its annual Click It or Ticket campagin begins on May 23rd and runs nearly two weeks . Enforcement of the seat belt law is centered around the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend Holiday.
