UA Hope-Texarkana Commencement Set For May 14
The commencement ceremony at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is shaping up to be a truly memorable affair, poised to take place on Tuesday, May 14th, at 6:00 p.m. amidst the grandeur of Hempstead Hall on the Hope Campus. This year's event holds special significance as we anticipate the graduation of 413 students, marking an impressive 15% increase from the previous year. These graduates will be conferred with a total of 618 degrees and certificates, showcasing a remarkable 25% surge in academic accomplishments compared to last year.
We are delighted to announce that Dr. Donald R. Bobbitt, the esteemed President of the University of Arkansas System, will grace us with his presence as our distinguished guest speaker, imparting words of wisdom and inspiration to the graduating class. We extend a warm invitation to the public to join us in commemorating the outstanding achievements of these students.
To facilitate a seamless experience for all attendees, we have made arrangements for handicapped parking in the two closest parking lots to Hempstead Hall. Additionally, there is a convenient drop-off point located under the awning at the front entrance of the building, ensuring easy access for everyone attending this momentous occasion.
The graduation ceremony will be streamed live at the UAHT YouTube channel.
