If you've always dreamed of being a nurse, you can make that dream a reality. The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is now accepting applications for its Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program at the Texarkana campus.

Applications are available online at UAHT's website and will be accepted from September 1 through November 1, 2026. The deadline to apply is 4:30 PM on November 1.

The LPN program is a full-time, 11-month selective admission program that leads to a Technical Certificate in Practical Nursing. Students who complete the program will be prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) and pursue licensure as a practical nurse.

Accepted students will begin classes on January 11, 2027.

Prospective students are encouraged to speak with a U of A Hope-Texarkana advisor to learn more about admission requirements and the application process.
