Enjoy a Free Friday Movie Night at Hempstead Hall While Helping Families in Need

Looking for a fun and free way to spend a Friday night with the family? The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is having a free movie night at Hempstead Hall on Friday, August 28, at 7 PM.

The UAHT Chancellor’s Office will host the event, featuring Disney Pixar’s Hoppers.

Admission is free, but guests are encouraged to bring canned goods or other non-perishable food items to help support Hope In Action. Donations are appreciated but are not required to attend the movie.

UAHT Chancellor Dr. Ricky Tompkins said in a recent press release,

We are pleased to provide an opportunity for families and friends in our community to come together and enjoy a fun evening at Hempstead Hall. We also hope attendees will help us support Hope In Action and the important services it provides to our neighbors in Hempstead County.

Helping Neighbors in Need

Hope In Action serves more than 3,000 people in Hempstead County each year. The organization provides temporary safe shelter, meals, basic necessities and other essential support to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and homelessness.
