Airports in Hope and five other Arkansas communities are splitting $1.3 million dollars from the federal government to pay for construction and repairs. The airport in Hope plans to use its $370,000 grant to pay for new pavement on a runway.

Texarkana, Arkansas Police have arrested two people in connection with fraudulent use of a credit card, a felony. Authorities have charged 20 year old Laura Crouch and 21 year old Raymond Griffith after a recent invesitgation alleged the two obtained several credit card numbers and made purchases at a local business.

In sports the Miami Heat won game #1 of the NBA Finals last night in Florida beating the Dallas Mavericks 92-84. Game #2 will be on the Heats homecourt Thursday night before the series shifts to Dallas.
