Large Amount of Drugs Seized in Search Warrant + Arrest
A 44-year-old local man Timothy Brooks was arrested at a residence on Skyline Blvd. last Thursday, May 23 after more than 13,000 Ecstasy pills, several pounds of marijuana, and a stolen pistol were found including approximately 25 pounds of methamphetamine.
According to a report released on Tuesday, Members of the Special Investigations Unit and the Miller County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant as part of a joint investigation.
According to the Texarkana, Texas Police Department, Brooks was arrested at the scene for felony warrants for DWI 3 or more and a parole violation. He is currently being held in the Bi-State Jail. Additional charges related to the drugs will be filed in the coming days after the investigators have the opportunity to consult with prosecutors.
