21 Strike Up Some Fun Bowl-A-Thon Coming to Texarkana

A little friendly competition will help make the holidays brighter for local kids as the community gets ready to Strike Up Some Fun Bowl-A-Thon on November 5 at Holiday Bowl in Texarkana.

The event will raise money for the Texarkana Arkansas Police and Fire Departments' Shop With a Cop and Firefighter program, which helps make the holiday season special for local families.

Bowl for a Good Cause

The Bowl-A-Thon gets underway at 6 PM Thursday, November 5, at Holiday Bowl, located at 3408 N. Stateline Avenue in Texarkana, Arkansas. Check-in begins at 5:30 PM.

Teams are invited to take part in the fundraiser, with four bowlers per team and an entry fee of $165 per team. Organizers are also looking for sponsors to help make the event a success.

All proceeds will benefit the Shop With a Cop and Firefighter program, giving participants a chance to support local law enforcement and firefighters as they work to bring some extra holiday cheer to children in the community.

Sign Up by November 1

The deadline to enter a team is Sunday, November 1, so bowlers and potential sponsors are encouraged to get involved soon.

Whether you're ready to roll a few strikes, have fun with friends or support a worthwhile local cause, the Bowl-A-Thon offers a way to do a little good while enjoying a night at the lanes.
