LifeShare Blood Center’s Upcoming Blood Drives
Are you a blood donor? LifeShare Blood Center in Texarkana is always out in the community looking for donations. During the holiday season donations tend to be low because everyone is so busy with ...well the holidays. There are a lot of places over the next couple of weeks where you can donate and give the gift of life.
Why should you donate blood? According to LifeShare:
Every two seconds, someone somewhere needs blood. One of every seven people who enter the hospital will need blood. That person may be you, your loved one, friend or co-worker. With all the wonderful advances in modern medicine, there still is no substitute for human blood. The blood that helps patients comes only from caring people who volunteer to help others by donating their life-saving blood.
Be sure to stop by one of these blood drives listed below. There are a few days were there are actually two blood drives on the same day.

Wednesday, December 2 – Hooks High School – Hooks, Texas 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Wednesday, December 2 – Beech Street Baptist Church – Texarkana, Texas 5:30 AM – 8:30 PM
Thursday, December 3 – Guardline Factory – Atlanta, Texas 8:30 AM – Noon
Thursday, December 3 – Christus St. Michael Rebab – Atlanta, Texas 1:30 AM – 6:00 PM
