Lining Up for Texarkana’s Newest Burger Joint Now Open

One of the fastest-growing burger chains in the United States is now open in Texarkana.

Wayback Burgers is located at 2511 Richmond Road right around the corner from Starbucks this will mark the 13th Wayback Burgers location in Texas and the first owned and operated locally by Yongbin and Mei Mei Chen, according to TXKToday.

You'll love the different varieties of burgers to choose from like the classic, double, or their popular "Cheeeesy" which comes with four slices of melted American cheese and two beef patties, grilled, and served on an upside-down buttered bun. Other burgers include the Cajun, A-1 Steakhouse, and Bourbon Bacon, and all burgers are made fresh daily.

More Than Burgers

Wayback Burgers is more than just burgers they also feature a chicken BLT sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich, cheesesteak, chili cheese dog, and chicken tenders just to name a few. The best part about Wayback Burgers is that you can craft your burger or sandwich the way you want it.

They also have a variety of fresh-cut fries and sides like chili cheese fries, bacon cheese fries, cheese curds, fried pickles, tater tots, and onion rings. Are you getting hungry yet?

Hand-made Shakes

When I was there I tried one of their signature hand-dipped milkshakes, the chocolate brownie made with real Blue Bunny ice cream and milk, it was so delicious. Other shakes include the red velvet cupcake cinnamon toast crunch, oreo cookie, and the Wayback classics vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry.

Wayback Burgers is a 2,000-square-foot building with a modern new kitchen with see-through glass windows where guests can see their food being made. The restaurant is tastefully decorated to offer customers a cool hip vibe with special lighting fixtures and furnishings.
