
Man Pleads Guilty to Murder in Deadly Block Party Shooting in Arkansas
The Arkansas State Police have an update on a shooting that took place last spring in Wynne, Arkansas.
Nineteen-year-old Tommie Frost of Marion, Arkansas pleaded guilty to Second-Degree Murder and Firearm Possession in Cross County Circuit Court this past Monday, January 27, 2025. His guilty plea stems from a shooting that left one person dead and several others injured at a block party in Wynne.
According to the press release, the shooting took place on April 13, 2024 at approximately 10 PM, near Williams Avenue and Martin Luther King Street in Wynne. 27-year-old Varian Campbell was killed, and at least nine other people were injured. The victims ranged in age from 24 to 49 years of age. This includes two people who were hit by vehicles during the chaos.
Arkansas State Police arrested Frost and three other suspects a few days later on April 16, 2024. Frost has now been sentenced to 20 years for the murder charge and 10 years for firearm possession. The sentences will run concurrently in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

The three other suspects are Quaverius Milon, Carl Washington, and Cameron Crawford. All three of them are waiting for their trials. Initially, all four suspects were charged with First-Degree Murder, nine counts of First-Degree Battery, and nine counts of Engaging in Violent Criminal Group Activity.
