Memorial Weekend Fireworks Display in Hot Springs May 24

What would the Memorial holiday weekend be without a fireworks display? Well, you will not have to venture too far from Texarkana to see a great display over Lake Hamilton on Sunday, May 24, weather permitting.

The annual display signals the unofficial start to the summer season in the Spa City. So, if any of you are planning on being on the lake this Sunday get ready for a fantastic fireworks display in the middle of Lake Hamilton. Fireworks will be shot from barges on the east side of Highway 7 near the first Highway 7 bridge.

The fireworks will be synchronized with music provided by my former country radio station US97 (97.5).

This free Memorial Day fireworks display is sponsored by Visit Hot Springs. Boating enthusiasts who will be watching on the water are urged to keep a safe distance from where the fireworks are being shot and be on the lookout for other boats in the watch area.

There are scattered showers forecasted for Sunday so in case of rain the Fireworks will be rescheduled for Monday 25, 2020. So, if you are tired of being stuck indoors over the past couple of months it will certainly be worth the drive to Hot Springs to see an awesome fireworks display.
