10th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade - Downtown Texarkana

This marks the 10th year of this celebratory parade that honors the life, legacy, and leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through unity, courage, and community strength.

"The 2026 celebration will be one of our most inspiring yet, and we invite everyone to join us in lifting his message across our city," said Brandon P. Houff, Parade Organizer

The MLK Jr. Parade will not only be a day of reflection and remembrance, but it will also represent the work still needed to strengthen our communities with a positive message. Dr. King's message has consistently centered on justice, equality, and love.
