Mobile Services Helping Customers During Coronavirus Pandemic
Verizon Wireless announced recently that they understand keeping communications with a loved one or business is very vital during this challenging time.
Verizon issued a statement to its customers that reads.
"In order to help during these challenging times, we have added 15GB of data to your plan at NO CHARGE for use from March 25-April 30. You can even use your phone as a mobile hot spot. This has been applied automatically. No activation is required."
Meanwhile, AT&T and Cricket Wireless are both adding 10GB per month of data for 60 days to existing customers' capped phone plans. The offer also applies to all new Cricket customers and all new AT&T prepaid customers who activate capped plans before April 26.
Sprint is taking these additional steps for the next 60 days during this unprecedented event.
Customers will get an additional 20GB of mobile hotspot data per month plus they will be waiving all activation and upgrades fees. And waiving per-minute calling rates from the U.S. to counties defined by the CDC as Level 3.
