If you found a large sum of money in a bag what would you do? Would you turn the bag into the police? Evidently, a homeless man in Boston thought he should do the same thing.

“At about 5:44 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, officers patrolling the area of South Bay Mall at 8 Allstate Road, Dorchester, were flagged down by an unknown male in front of the TJ Maxx Store,” according to BPDnews.com.

Inside the bag was a large sum of cash, traveler’s checks and identification. Once the owner of the bag mentioned to the staff of another store that he was missing his bag, he was put in touch with the police who had the bag in their possession. Honesty is truly the best policy!
