Nash Elementary Earns Statewide Recognition From IXL
Here's another great reason to celebrate at Texarkana ISD.
Nash Elementary School has been named an IXL High Achieving School, making it one of only eight schools in Texas to earn the distinction.
The award recognizes schools that demonstrate exceptional student engagement, skill mastery, and overall achievement through the IXL learning platform, which is used to support classroom learning in math and language arts.
Texarkana's Nash Elementary One of Only Eight Schools in Texas
Nash Elementary Principal Liliana Luna said in a press release,
Our students have worked hard, and our teachers have been intentional about using tools like IXL to meet students where they are and help them continue building their skills and confidence. To be one of only eight schools recognized across Texas is an exciting accomplishment.
Students at Nash use IXL to strengthen skills at their own pace while receiving immediate feedback and working toward mastery.

A Team Effort at Texarkana ISD

According to Texarkana ISD website, the recognition highlights the dedication of students, teachers, staff, and campus leaders who work together to support academic growth.
Chief of Elementary Schools Christy Tidwell said being recognized among such a small number of schools statewide speaks volumes about the work taking place at Nash Elementary.

The High Achieving School distinction is based on student practice, proficiency, skill mastery, and overall achievement on the platform.
District leaders say the honor is another example of the academic success taking place across Texarkana ISD and how innovative learning tools can help meet students' individual needs while supporting long-term success.
