A few Wyoming lawmakers have proposed a new law designed to protect gun owners from any possible ban on firearms.

It's the "Firearms Protection Act", and it would make any federal laws or firearms bans on semi-automatic weapons, or magazine capacity unenforceable in the state.

What's more, any federal officer or agent that attempts to enforce federal gun laws in the state, could be charged with a felony, and receive up to two years in prison, and/or a fine.
