Nominate an Essential Worker Now to Become an Unsung Hero
You still have time to nominate an essential worker in our community who you think has made in difference in their service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Those essential workers include restaurant servers, grocery stockers, cashiers, sanitation workers, city employees, truck drivers, delivery workers, park employees, mail carriers, construction workers, and anyone you feel who has gone above and beyond in making sure we continue to have the basic needs it takes to keep American running.
These men and women are the unsung heroes. Thanks to Schlotzsky’s we owe them our gratitude for their perseverance. Kicker 102.5 wants to give them the recognition they so richly deserve over the air and with a special celebration luncheon for the nominated winners at Schlotzsky's.
Here's how it works:
Right now until Sept. 13, you can nominate an essential worker by heading over to our Kicker mobile app or to KKYR.com. Then be listening twice per weekday once in the morning and once in the afternoon for someone to be recognized on the air as an Unsung Hero. Then, at the end of the workweek, on Friday, two people will be selected as winning finalists. A total of 12 winning finalists will then join the Kicker Crew at Schlotzsky’s for their special luncheon where each individual will be presented an award for all their hard work and dedication. One finalist name will then be drawn out to receive $100 to go toward their favorite charity of their choice.
Surely, you know someone who deserves to be called an Unsung Hero, presented by Schlotzsky’s and Kicker 102.5. Good Luck!
