There are a lot of hot cars and trucks coming out this year but perhaps only one will be classified COLD.

There is nothing I hate more than waking up and getting into a cold car. One guy literally takes that statement to an all new level.  A manufacturer Canadian Tire has built a truck made of ice in an effort to show its new Eliminator battery can withstand serious freezing conditions.

The manufacturer put 14,000 pounds of ice on the frame of an already-existing truck.

The staff who made the truck then brought the battery down to minus-40 degrees before taking the truck for a one-mile ride.

And if your wondering how long it takes to melt 14,000 pounds of ice off a truck, try 40 hours. Let's just hope someone thought about icing down some beer for the long wait.

Sort of gives new meaning to Ice Road Truckers!
