Please Help Main Street Texarkana With Candy Donations

Main Street Texarkana's 30th Annual Christmas Parade is Monday, December 1, at 7 p.m. and Main Street and Santa need your help. Last year more than 5,000 people lined the streets of downtown Texarkana and this year a bigger crowd is expected. Santa wants to make sure he has plenty of candy to throw out to the all the kids in attendance and even though Santa already has some candy, Main Street organizers are reaching out to the community and asking citizens to donate candy. You're asked to take your donations to 819 N. Stateline Ave. or to City Hall during normal business hours. One to two bags is recommended.
