Texarkana has a new convenience store! RaceTrac is now open at 5309 N. State Line Avenue, next door to the Waffle House.

The Atlanta, Georgia-based company opened its doors last Friday, July 18, and is one of its larger flagship stores. RaceTrac offers its customers 24-hour service featuring 20 gas pumps and 8 diesel pumps specially designed for truckers.

Besides fuel, travelers can enjoy a large assortment of food and beverages no matter what they're craving or thirsting for. You'll love their breakfast sandwiches, donuts, pastries,  taquitos, kolaches, fresh-made empanadas, and tamales, which I thought were good. Let me just say, this is not your typical gas station food. The best part is that you can save even more with RaceTrac rewards.
