Red, White and You Job Fair is Tomorrow!

Looking for a job? Are you a veteran? Then get your resume together and get to Central Mall tomorrow!

While the job fair is open to the public, Workforce representative Amy Poe says the event is specifically geared towards veterans as part of a statewide initiative to help vets find work.

Ms Poe spoke with us this morning about the job fair. Listen to our interview below.

The job fair will be open to veterans from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and open to the general public from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the north entrance of the mall.
 
 
Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas is hosting the job fair and 65 businesses and organizations have signed up to participate.

If you are planing on attending the event, you're encouraged to pre-register by downloading the registration form online at netxworks.org or by visiting the Greater Texarkana Workforce Center at 1702 Hampton Road.

Make sure you bring plenty of copies of your resume and be prepared to interview on site.
