One of the hottest rising country stars is coming to El Dorado, Arkansas on Friday, October 11, 2024.

About Megan Moroney

The Georgia-born singer/songwriter has been making music since she was 16 years old. After several health setbacks during her high school years, Moroney graduated and was off to the University of Georgia where she studied accounting, she won the Miss Sorority Row pageant by performing a cover of Deana Carter’s “Strawberry Wine." It wasn't until she went on stage at a campus event that country star Chase Rice attended and noticed her talent and asked her to open up for him at the Georgia Theatre. Her songwriting skills were put to a test she passed and the rest is history as they say in the music business.

After graduating from UGA Megan Moroney picked up and moved to Nashville, Tennesse as so many aspiring artists do to pursue their lifelong musical career. She was fortunate enough to get with Kristian Bush multi-award-winning artist/songwriter/producer and member of the famed duo Sugarland. In 2022, Moroney released her debut EP Pistol Made of Roses. The album shared some personal experiences like the pain of losing yourself in a toxic relationship, the frustration of dealing with mean girls and their petty antics, and the no-regrets thrill of reconnecting with an ex on a rowdy night out.
