Four States Fair & Rodeo time is here! Last Friday night the fair kicked off with comedian Rodney Carrignton. A very good crowd was on hand to welcome him back to Texarkana. The crowd on hand laughed, screamed and yelled from the beginning to end.Rodney flew in from his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma and met with our backstage winners prior to the show. I've seen Rodney perform several times now and I think this was his funniest and raunchiest show yet.  About midway thru the show he let the crowd in on going through some tough times recently with a divorce. That's the most serious I've seen him be, before he turned it to something funny. And of course, Rodney ended the show with some of his trademark parody songs. I think for a guy who has  been a little out of the spotlight lately, he had his game on.

The Four States Fair continues tonight and Thursday with the Texaco Country Showdown where local musical talent will be taking the outdoor stage for their chance at getting to the national finals and a shot at $100,000. Join Kicker 102.5 for all the fun and come support our local talent for this FREE show.
