The Texarkana USA Regional Chamber of Commerce has selected Jennifer Harland, as the 2021 Chairman of the Board. Jennifer has been active in the local Chamber in projects and committees including Government Affairs, Economic Development, membership programs, as well as serving on the Board of Directors. She is active in the community, including the Workforce Investment Board and ARTEX-REDI board.

Bowie County reports 182 new cases bringing the total to 2,878 cumulative positive COVID-19 cases, with 8 additional deaths over the Christmas weekend for a total of 119. The Department of State Health Services is reporting an additional 966 probable cases with a total of 3285 estimated recoveries. Cass County added 41 new cases, for a total of 860, 411 probable cases with 1190 of those recovered,
