The City of Texarkana, Texas partnered up with the Master Gardeners of Bowie and Miller county and hosted a tree planting project this past Wednesday, March 2. Students from Maud, Liberty-Eylau, Pleasant Grove and Texarkana, Arkansas ISDs all participated in planting 600 trees into pots. They will be used as part of a stream restoration project as well as a future Arbor Day tree give-away.

On Wednesday, February 3, two Ashdown High School students who are currently serving as Arkansas SkillsUSA State Officers were pinned in a special pinning ceremony held in Malvern at Arkansas State University - Three Rivers University.

Theatre students at Southern Arkansas University now have a place to hang out between classes at Harton Theatre thanks to the efforts of student volunteers over the summer. They have also transformed unused space into more usable areas for production.
