Texarkana College is excited to announce its upcoming Community Career Fair, which will take place on Thursday, July 13, from 2 PM to 6 PM in the Truman Arnold Student Center Great Room.
Texarkana College Trustees took formal action on Monday Feb. 25, 2019 to approve the addition of a new associate of applied science degree of pharmacy technology to the degree offerings in TC’s Health Sciences division.
At a ceremony held Thursday, Oct. 12, Texarkana Emergency Center donated three wheelchairs to Texarkana College for use on campus to temporarily aid students or guests who have limited mobility. The wheelchairs will be placed around campus in high-traffic areas and be available in case of emergencies or to assist those with injuries.
Texarkana College’s Sage program engages citizens in the “third stage” of life in thoughtful discussion and stimulating activities to enrich their day-to-day living. Sage programming primarily benefits mature adults who are age 46 and up and who are seeking a like-minded community.
Texarkana College is gearing up for another exciting Kids’ College this summer for kids ages 7-12, according to a press release. Students who enroll can participate in a wide range of different classes such as multiple sports classes, Lego-Robotics, Google Coding, Future Chefs in the Making, Cosmo Kids, and many others.
This Thursday, March 23 at 11:30AM Texarkana College will welcome Chairman Andres Alcantar of the Texas Workforce Commission as the keynote speaker for a region wide luncheon. The public is invited to attend the kick-off for the Texas Higher Education strategic plan of 60x30TX according to a recent press release.
Texarkana College’s Community and Business Education Center is looking forward to another six-week section of Ladies Aquatic Move & Groove. This fun-filled class, held at TC’s Pinkerton Recreation Center, begins February 28 and offers an exciting way for ladies to exercise in an Olympic-sized heated swimming pool.
